Our Story


My name is Matt and I am the owner of Wiz Kid Tech Repair. This business was born out of a lifelong passion for helping others with technology. Since I was a kid, I’ve been the go-to tech support for my family. What began as curiosity and excitement about computers eventually turned into a skillset that I have refined over the past 20 years. I’ve spent countless hours troubleshooting, fixing, and setting up devices for friends, family, and anyone who needed help – often during moments of frustration when technology just wouldn’t cooperate.

The name Wiz Kid holds a special meaning for me. It was a nickname my grandfather Paul used for anyone he thought had a knack for something. After teaching myself how to use my grandparents computer, I became his "Wiz Kid," eventually helping him with any and all tech problems he would encounter (trust me, there was A LOT). That early experience shaped not only my love for technology but also my patience and understanding when guiding others.

I started this business because I recognize how overwhelming technology can be for many people. Whether it’s a computer that won’t turn on, a smartphone that’s acting up, or just needing guidance on how to use a new device – I know how important it is to have someone patient and reliable to call on. At Wiz Kid Tech Repair, my goal is to make tech feel less intimidating and to provide clear, honest solutions that get people back on track with minimal stress.
